ACTIVITIES Panel (Left Sidebar)
While the Activities Panel is crucial for selecting workflow components, the workflow editor interface comprises several other key sections that work together to enable workflow design and management. Let's explore these sections:
- Purpose: The ACTIVITIES panel, located on the left sidebar, is your activity library. It is the central source for all the building blocks you use to construct your workflows.
- Functionality:
- Categorized Activities: Activities are organized into logical sections (like General, Branching, Composition, Console, Email, Flow, HTTP, Looping, Microsoft Graph, Operations, Primitives, Scripting, Response, and potentially others). This categorization helps you easily find the activity you need based on its function.
- Drag-and-Drop Interface: You use this panel to drag and drop activities from the categorized sections onto the Workflow Canvas (explained below) to build your workflow visually.
- Search Functionality: A search bar (indicated by "Search" and "Q") is typically provided at the top of the Activities Panel. This allows you to quickly find specific activities by name or keyword, especially helpful when working with a large number of available activities.
